Punjab Holi Festival 2012

Holi A festival of colors, is a Hindu festival celebrated in India, Guyana, Trinidad and Nepal. This festival is usually celebrated right after winters. It is celebrated in the month of feb and march. Now This year holi celebrates on 8 march 2012. This is a colorful festival celebrated with much happiness and enthusiasm all over northern India.

People play with colors and bonfire is lit to mark the victory of good over bad. Sweets and greetings are exchanged on this occasion. Holi Festival 2012 around the world will also be celebrated with same fervor and enthusiasm. Sikhs celebrate Holi in their own style and elan. At Punjab, they call it 'Hola Mohalla'. Holla Mohalla is celebrated a day after Holi in Punjab especially by the Nihang Sikhs. The festival is celebrated with gusto at Anandpur Sahi
